Family Alpaca Farms (FAF) was established in 2007. It developed
when it was identified that there was a need for contact farms
across the United States with a focus on bringing back the family
farm through the alpaca industry. Member alpaca farmers are
located throughout the United States with a few in Canada. Each
farm is independent of each other, but we work together to provide
a network of support in breeding, raising and helping new alpaca
farms get started in the alpaca industry.
We are still building our network and we are trying to locate
and include at least one farm per state so you will have someone
close to you that can provide additional information on alpacas
and the alpaca industry.
Although one farm cannot guarantee what another farm will do,
and we can't guarantee livestock from another farm, be assured
that before a farm is added to our membership, we either have
personal experience with the farm or have received referrals
from others who recommend the farm. We have every reason
to believe that all listed farms will be glad to work openly
and honestly with new and growing family alpaca farms.
